Who We Are

Seh Theh College exists to nurture students academically, socially, and spiritually, enabling them to become responsible and disciplined adults. Born from a community initiative in Karenni State, Myanmar, and formerly known as Seh Theh Learning Center, the college has been providing higher education opportunities, including diplomas in community development, since 2013 for youth from diverse backgrounds in Karenni and Southern Shan State. Our educational philosophy is centered on a challenging and energetic program that helps students discover and develop their potential, equipping them with the essential knowledge, skills, and character needed to contribute to a sustainably-developed and peaceful society.

Despite the challenges and ongoing conflicts, we remain committed to serving marginalized communities, including refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). The college has a proud history of graduates who are actively serving their communities by working in various social enterprises, NGOs, and community-based organizations. We believe that investing in higher education for vulnerable youth is paramount to building informed, empowered, and responsible future leaders for their nation.
